Stuffed peppers with Thracian rice
Stuffed peppers with Thracian rice


Ingredients:

10  large peppers

1 cup of Thracian rice

1 / 2 cup of olives

200g minced meat

1 carrot

1 tomato

1 onion

parsley, savory, pepper



Preparation:

In a pan with oil fry chopped onion, carrot and minced meat. Fry till minced meat turns rousy and add washed and cleaned rice. Fry and add olives. Pour one cup hot water. Boil until liquid is absorbed. Remove from heat and add chopped parsley and tomatoes into small cubes. The peppers are filled with the mixture and put in buttered baking dish. On top, sprinkle with paprika and salt, pour in 1 / 2 cup of water and wrap with aluminum foil. After 15-20 minutes remove foil and bake until the peppers are roasted on top.
